cluster & instrument panel lights went out,but fuses ok? help

Default cluster & instrument panel lights went out,but fuses ok? help

2000 civic hx, went to turn on my lights the other night, but no cluster and panel lights. checked fuses, am I missing something? parking lights work, everything seems ok. any info would be helpful to check out, Im at a dead end with this one.

Check your dimmer switch. If it goes out, all your lights go out.

thats what I thought too, tried swaping it out with another friends, but same thing, I get nothing

if all else fails, try cleaning the dimmer switch itself...and I mean pop the whole unit off, take off the covering, and spray into the wheel while working it, then make sure it's dry before trying...
