Yeah they are just like any other Honda Tranny but sometimes that cable shifter can be a pain if not installed/adjusted properly...

My friend's H22 tranny had some problems so he dropped in a h23 you can try that,

How would that help ? Just because one person has an issue with an h22 trans, does not mean there bad. I don't like the transmission because of the overall setup, I would take a b over it any day.

Well the h22 motor its strong if youre trying to pull more power then a b-series go for H-series any tranny its gonna have problems even thou they have overall setups.

True - the H22 is alot more work to install and takes alot of patience but it's worth it

I had an H23 Tranny with no grinds and no problems. I don't know why H22 tranny would have more problems than anything else..

Not really is JUST BAD DRIVERS, u got kids trying to power shift, and then when tranny goes bad they blame the tranny sucks, but reality is just they don't know how to drive.

the cables give small problems when trying to shift your car over 8k rpms. Hence why people are running the h2b setups now.

yeah sometimes when shifting over 8k it doesnt want to go in gear unless you focus on putting exactly in gear.

the cables shift linkage in the h-series have a slower and sluggish response in shifting compared to the b-series shift linkage.

h2b adapter plate is the way to go if you have the money.

my h22a tranny grinded goin in 5th gear :/
that seems to be the main prob with h22 trannies i got mine from Hmotors too
