quick question from a non fit owner
Ok please don't flame me about this stupid question because I did search. My friend's girlfriend just bought a fit and he asked me to post because he is not a member. He wanted to know at what rpm vtec engages in the fit sport. He said he was driving it today and couldn't even tell when vtec engaged. I know nothing about fits, but I'd imagine they have ivtec, if they even have vtec. I drive a prelude so I also know next to nothing about ivtec. I think I've heard ivtec can kick in at different rpms according to power needs, unlike my h22 which is always the same. Thanks for the help in advance.

The reason you don't 'feel' or 'hear' vtec engage is because it's SOHC... Just like the xB you can't hear it but of course, that's VVT-i.
nevermind... someone beat me to it... ^^ TY.
