Default VAFC2 removal?

I bought the car with it and I'm not going to need it. I want to sell it. How do I remove it? I know the wires plug into the ECU but are there any that need to be cut? I also have an A/F ratio gauge that I won't need. Where do those wires go? Thanks

Okay I have some pictures. I don't know where to disconnect it and which wires were tapped in for the install.

The mess

This runs in and out of the dash. Is this where it gets grounded and power?

What is this wire?

Conversion harness to the right?

Wow, you got quit the project ahead of you.

First off the easy stuff...
Looks like you have the gator plastic splice connectors. Those are easy cause all they do is splice a wire coming into another one.

Unclip those and wrap electric tape around the spliced ECU wire. Do this to all that have that gator connector and it should get ride of a hefty amount of wires coming into your ECU.

I can't tell the others so good luck with the ones that are electric taped together. Could be easy though.

all you have to do is cut all the wires that are connected to the VAFC, BUT you have to be careful that the tips of the remaining pieces of wire that are spliced into your ECU wires dont touch anything. This way, if you wanted to you could just hook up another VAFC without messing with the factory wires.

I dont remember a plug in like that with my VAFC, but ya, unplug that and look for any other wires that are spliced into your ecu wires. Its really easy, it just takes time and you have to properly clean everything up with electrical tape. Good luck

Thanks a lot. I'm gonna talk to the shop, just for a little more advice.
