Default dyno results of my peakboost civic 3-28-07 with videos

Hey guys,

Ok, so last year my car made 299.7 whp and 202.3 tq on 9 psi and the best run it made last year was a 7.22 @ 97 mph. 1/8th and 11.40 @ 118 mph. Btw this is a gsr with cp pistons and eagle rods stock block.

The changes I have made from last year to this year are installed ITR cams. Went to the dyno yesterday and retuned it on 9 psi and it made 343.9 hp and 223.2 tq - just in the cams it gained 44.2 hp and 20.9 tq.

So I decided to turn up the boost to 16 psi and it made 411 hp and 276 tq.

So when I went to the dyno this year I was determined to hit 420 whp so we turned the boost up to 19.6 psi and the results from that was 438.9 hp at 316.3 tq!!

So last year I went a 7.22 in the 1/8th - this year I'm shooting for 6.80-6.90's. It went 11.40's last year in the 1/4. I'm shooting for 10.5-10.8's this year.

Here's a dyno graph comparing last year to this year....

So you did nothing other than the cam swap?? That's a great power difference.

Did you come to IFO in Montgomery last November?

Amazing what a good effecient setup can do. That's kickin but for just the Basic T3/T04e turbo too.

Welcome to the wonderful world of rediculous tire spin. lol.. The test drive was super fun friday. Can't wait to start tearin the track up.

i would be hoping for around 10.8-11.1 and you might wanna consider going to 26" after you burn those up. if youre still running stock axles, you may wanna consider going DSS or do what im going to do- the rsx spindle conversion..

I can see maybe some axles, for safety sake, but what's the point of 26"s. That's over kill big time. plenty of people going deep into the 9's on 24.5"s. As far as the time goes. I'm not so sure he'll go that deep into the 10's, but He's an exellent driver and has a very well put together car. So, Mid 10's are definately possible. His 11.4 pass was with him letting off about 100-200 feet before the beams.

im guessing he's deflating down to like 8lbs or so.. but i dont think it would hurt to go to 26"- thats why i said after he burns out his 24's to try out the 26's.
yea 1.6 is a pretty nice 60ft time, i was thinking with a good axle set up and the 26's- might get that down 1.5 possibly.
what kind of suspension/clutch/motormounts are you running?

i dont see the car going any faster than a 10.7 at best w/ only 440whp, i had 410whp and went 10.999@126.28, the old list of fastest streetcars on HT there were very few faster than mine w/ around the same trap speed, you have to drive the **** out of a car to get it to go fast w low whp but goodluck, and i did it on stock axles trying out 600-650whp on stock axles this yr just to see what happens ill let you know

Very similar results to my old set up with just the cam swap. I had an 84mm B16A that made 563whp 8700rpmwith 2000 Si cams, swapped some ITR cams and it made 600whp at 8700rpm and made 616whp at 9500rpm
