Rim recomendations for drag radials????
Hey guys
I need a recomendation for a 15" rim for some BFG drag radials. Looking for something reasonably light, durable, and cheap.(yes, i want it all, and at a minamum price... dont we all???....lol)
These wheels will not be driven on the street much.. maybe 5 miles to and from the track. I think i am going to go with 205/50/15 tires, but would like the rim to be wide enough to seat both those, and 225's correctly should i want to try them out in the future.
Should i just go with like a cheap rota wheel in 15", or are there some better and lighter racing wheels for around the same price???
Thanks for the help guys.

Nice, so they dont bow out or anything crazy like??? Full contact patch on the road??? How are the BFG's daily driven???
I was also considering the slipstreams because i think u can get them in 15x7??

i air mine down to about 14psi i was kinda scetchy about goin lower and spinning the tire but i cut 1.8 1.9 60fts on them i know i could do better but ill wait for slicks for that. but i love my bfgs from what i hear u have to heat the nittos alot for them to stick with my bfgs small burn out and they would hook like crazy
I had 205/45/15 nitto 555's on my rotas running around 13-14psi at the track and I ^ agree. They were a bitch to get traction. Maybe because of the small sidewall. (Got them cheap)
Maybe even if you have a designated two rims for the track go down to a 14" rim.
Would help with your drop. Just suggestion and my experience.
M&H or BFG FTW

I recommend going with a pretty wide wheel for drag radials. It keeps the tire from wanting to balling up when you launch the car and reduces wheel hop quite a bit. I run an 8" wide rim on mine.
