Does anyone know if there are any Honda automatics that would work in a CB(1990-93) Accord with a H22? I'm asking because I'm looking for a CB sedan to put an auto H22 in. I have a disability and I wouldn't be able to use the clutch. As it is, i'll probably have to get hand controls for the gas/brake pedals. I've seen videos & things online of CBs and CDs with auto H22s, but they never mentioned the trans. I've asked other people & some of them said that if I need an automatic, to just keep the F22 and modify it, but I'd prefer an H22 because the most powerful F22 I know of is 140 hp. Is this a good idea? If I got a CB Accord and an H22, would the F-Series auto tranny work? If not, which autos will? Any info is greatly appreciated!

Yes, there is an H22 auto transmission. I would recommend it over the F22 trans due the shorter gear ratio.

 

I would get a H22 trans from a 97+ prelude, gotta love the sport shift, next best thing to a 5spd. However, F and H series trans work together, so you can get one from a prelude or an accord. Or even an early year Oddyse if u wanted.
