Default Cooling fan help.

My car has been leaking antifreeze aound the radiator and it cracked. I got a new radiator and then notice my cooling fan wasnt on. I asume thats why my first radiator cracked. I made a jumper on the coolant temp switch plug and my fan came right on. So i thought it was just the switch. So i got a new coolant temp switch and it still doesnt come on. Checked all the fuse's and relay's. Car never read hot. Going to replace the thermostat tomorrow. Ive seached and check everything the post said. i would just keep the jumper in but it cuts off with the key not the turbo timer. Its a boosted 97 ex. I need it fix not rig. thanks alot guys!!

When you got rad problems that lead to overheating problems, you usually g2 change the thermostat too. Too much debris is floating around (at least on old ones).

The thermostat's 12 bucks, change that. That should be the first thing you change after you change a radiator - always. Always, always.

I've never seen anybody get away with a car that's 7+ years old swapping radiators and NOT having the thermostat take a ****. It gets jammed up from 7 years of debris flowing through it.

Go change it, the problem will clear up .
