UPITER, Fla. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Honda Tuning Magazine All Motor at the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Fifth Annual Palm Beach NHRA Sport Compact Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run: Left Lane: Scott Kelley Runs 9.815/138.78, Now #1
Right Lane: Jesus Padilla Runs 11.271/125.43, Now #2
2:08 PM The off season has been very busy for the Kelley team, their Toyota Bullet was put on a major diet - over 80 lbs were taken off the car. Scott wanted to race Padilla evidently this is the first time Kelley has crossed the stripe ahead of the Kissimee Florida driver.
Left Lane: Jeremy Lookofsky Runs 9.679/143.12, Now #2
Right Lane: Leslie Durst-Armendariz Runs 9.467/142.47, Now #1
WOW! The quickest pass ever in All Motor! A 9.54 or better will need to be run to back up the time for Durst - 1.452 60-foot time, Leslie was going a BLISTERING 116.15 mph at the halfway point.
Left Lane: Saul Salceda Runs 9.557/142.04, Now #2
Another blistering pass - conditions are almost perfect in at Moroso. Salceda could also set a new national record this weekend in All Motor
Left Lane: Angel Valentin Runs 12.161/102.35, Now #6
Valentin was off the gas well before the finish line stripe.
Left Lane: Vince Tiaga Runs 12.161/102.35, Now #6
No driver data yet for this entry....
Right Lane: not on file Runs 17.942/58.17, Now #7
Right Lane: Jesus Padilla Runs 11.271/125.43, Now #2

JUPITER, Fla. - Notes from final, round 1 qualifying in Hot Rod at the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Fifth Annual Palm Beach NHRA Sport Compact Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run: Left Lane: Kenny Tran Runs 8.108/177.72, Now #1
Right Lane: Chuck Seitsinger Runs 11.020/87.91, Now #2
A new Career best for Tran right off the trailer!! Seitsnger's motor was snap crackle and a poppin on this pass.
Right Lane: Stephanie Eggum Runs 8.349/180.14, Now #2
Eggum danced with the centerline most of the way, but made it to the stripe.

JUPITER, Fla. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Modified at the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Fifth Annual Palm Beach NHRA Sport Compact Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run: Left Lane: Alex Deiguez No Time, Now #0
Right Lane: Steve Topletz No Time, Now #0
Alex launched right toward the wall! He managed to miss the first time, but when he got back on the gas the car lurched to the left again, and left just enough red paint to cancel the run. Topletz broke right off the lane and came to a stop just past the half track cone. So we have two cars with no times, and Topletz is waiting for some "help" to get back to the starting line area.
Left Lane: Ken Scheepers No Time, Now #5
Right Lane: Brent Rau Runs 7.502/172.01, Now #1
Ken was leaking stuff after the burnout and got shut off. Nice pass for Rau who has escaped the cold in Minnesota to be here in Florida this weekend!
Left Lane: Carlos Perez Runs 8.660/161.08, Now #2
Right Lane: Jose Ortiz No Time, Now #3
After another cleanup of the left lane, we're back underway. Temps are in the 70's, just a light breeze Two local RX7's pair up in Modified. Perez danced all the way to the stripe, Ortiz sat on the line, then backed up after a crew member stepped into the beams.
That was a little different...
Left Lane: Melvin Santana Runs 14.242/118.00, Now #2
Right Lane: Eddie Colon No Time, Now #3
Santana's crew members all invoked the powers of the allmighty for their driver in the burnout box it may have helped as he narrowly avoided hitting the wall. Colon broke
Left Lane: Paul Efantis Runs 8.373/140.51, Now #2
Efantis hiked up high in the air off the line, the team will adjust for that before the next round. Efantis also left a puff of smoke at the top end.
Left Lane: Dee Karagiannis Runs 9.239/141.06, Now #4
Dee's maiden voyage in this new Mazda was conservative by design. The car looks awesome, it went straight, and it was cool to watch it do huge rear wheel drive burnout. Look for much more to come from this metallic blue Mazda!

He's copy/pasting from dragracecentral.com's website, and we're not supposed to be doing that. You're going to get H-T in trouble if you keep doing that instead of posting up the link.
I'm also interested in the SFWD and SRWD results, but I gues DRC doesn't list those results.

Scions appear to be flying this weekend, congrats to Leslie and Rado for their killer times.
ProRWD - NHRA threw all these rules to slow Titan down and still no one else shows up ? I'd rather see them leave the rules as they where and watch Brad and Gary re-write the record books every week then be forced to race just each other in 6.60-6.80 cars.

Slipped right by me, so Q1 in all 4 classes, Sheila must be happy.
