obd1 ecu and block with obd2 head?!?

obd1 ecu and block with obd2 head?!?
So im doing an ls/vtec build and i have a obd2 2001 gsr head and a obd1 ls block...do i need to run an obd1 or 2 ecu??? Or can i even use the head on this build???Need answers fast!!!
