92-95 civic hb stock piping size diff (searched already)
If anyone could confirm which 92-95 civic hb stock exhaust piping is the same as the si model I would appreciate it. I am looking for stock exhaust piping and want to know which models are identical in size to the Si model. I know the cx model is smaller for sure. Any help would be appreciated.

what for? when you say si, you mean 2000 civic si, or 95 civic hatchback si?
if anything, both the 2000 si and 95 si might be similar in size, not sure.
why don't you just go to a muffler shop?

Why are you making such a big deal about this? No offense, I'm just curious of you're motive.
X Stock exhaust won't flow much better than Y stock exhaust. Especially when from the same chassis generation.

Not making a big deal, just trying to find an answer?
Ok my car has stock cx piping/exhaust which is smaller then the stock d16z6 si piiping. I just did a d15b swap and stock header is not fitting well with the stock piping because its so small. My car is a daily driver and just want the correct stock exhaust to fit and go with the engine. And yes x exhaust will flow better than Y stock exhaust. X exhaust (d16z6) little larger diameter will flow better.

They are not the same. Still haven't got an answer yet.

How can the hb models be the same when you just said the cx/vx exhaust piping is smaller corrrect? Thats all I wanted to find out.
Why does it not make sense? I have d15b engine with a stock d15b header. You ever tried to mate that header with a stock cx exhaust? The d15b header has a larger outlet (donut) than the stock cx piping can receive. Tell why getting the stock si or dx cat and exhuast dosen't make sense? Its a fitting issue, want to keep it stock, whats not to understand?

I just want stock exhaust simple as that. Its a daily driver and want it to be quiet! I have the appropriate header, why would I pay the muffler shop when I can get an oem exhaust cheaper?

So get you're oem exhaust, get the dx or the Si.

Thats what I plan on doing, just needed to know what models had the same diameter as the SI. So I guess the Dx is the only model that has the same exhaust diameter per Street Dreams. The ex is to long won't fit.
i dont get why you need to find out what OTHER trims have the same as the Si? why don't you just get the Si? i dont think it'd be any more expensive, although some Si's came with a more *blingin* muffler.
OEM stuff is expensive too, i bet you could get a nice mandrel bent 2" (all you need for a d15) setup for the same price as a dinky 1.75" crush-bent system.

My point the whole time.
Use a factory muffler and some kteller 2" piping.

I wanted to know what other trims had the same exhaust as the Si because I would have a better chance of finding it when posting WTB post. If I found an Si I would buy it. I found a couple of people selling stock exhaust from the dx and vx trim, so thats why I made this post. Oem stuff is not expensive if used. Like I said I just want to run stock exhaust!
