I was talking to Mark @ Landspeed and he was mentioning we should get a small meet together.

Depending on the number of people we could all meet at my place, do a BBQ or something, whatever. Anyone interested?

my engine should be back from larrys in tucson in about 2 weeks. should be running soon as we finish the exhaust, and ill probably taking it to SRD for tuning. let me know when you plan on meeting up.

Yeah, I don't mind a few non-Type-R's, as long as you got some decent mods done.

No offense to some, but showing up with say a stock RSX, or CRX fails to be very interesting. Unless the car were to contain, say, females >= the age of 18 ;-)

lets finally have a Type R meet here in tucson where we can have a true bbq at the best steakhouse in arizona that i work at so i can get us hooked up with a discount plus all the beer you can drink and girls if you want than we can go party afterwards at the titty bars or clubs.

I will try to go to the NASA event, but who knows.

The only problem with meeting down in Tuscon is that most people attending the meet are from the Phoenix area. We could also maybe meet @ Landspeed (would need to talk to Mark about it). Whatever you guys want to do. I only suggested my place because it's nicer than meeting somewhere like Speedworld or a parking lot where we can only stay for a certain amount of time, etc, etc.

mark, a garbage truck turned left in front of me and i plowed it at almost 40mph. its fucked if all turns out ok for me, i will have everythign swapped over to a 98 hatch within the next week or so

I would love to attend a meet. I am in UTAH though. There are a few other ITR owners taht might come if it is worth oue while. We just drove to Seattle for a H-T/HYBRID BBQ, in which there was NO BBQ! It was good to meet some of the guys in Seattle area though and hang out with them at the local SCCA event. Make it an EVENT and we will be there for sure.

 

Alright, well whatever you guys wants to do we can do.

I can do a BBQ at my house; we should have enough space to fit about 10 - 12 R's. We also have a 63 inch HDTV w/ DVD and VHS, so if people bring some videos we can check that stuff out. I know Mark @ Landspeed has some really nice ones he could bring. I also have all the tools we need if someone needs minor stuff installed, i.e. header, intake, exhaust type stuff.

Or we can meet somewhere else, and do whatever.

Make suggestions guys, otherwise I will assume my place kewl and start figuring the logistics.

Naturally, I like this idea. I'm hoping that I can debut the CRX at this event, assuming that it's ready in time. I think it's a night event, yes? Maybe we could do a BBQ there, and head over to onyx00's after the event?

By the way, if anyone needs 231's old parts (wheels, roll bar, etc.) I can bring them to the event.

 

Hell, you guys wanna make a day of it, spend some time and we'll toss on the header, exhaust and cat thats coming my way in the next few weeks. mmmm free labor... maybe I will stay for longer that 15 minutes.
