Question for you ppl interested in drag racing. (its suspension related)
when someone asks that they want to get involved in drag racing (official, track racing), do they typically feel like they need to have a turbo, or some kind of intake or exhaust as MANDATORY to drag race (and have fun)? do you think its necessary in order to even show up?? do they have equipment checks before they let you drive?
ok, rhetorical question, i suckered you all in.
heres me point. you guys who think you NEED to have spent $500-1000 on suspension parts before even showing up to a autocross or trackday, or "thinking of autox/road racing my car", you dont NEED to spend that much money to show up and take a whirl around the course. as long as your car is safe, and you drive safely, youll still have a lot of fun, learn lots and probably want to come again.
maybe youll want to come back with some more stuff to be better prepared, but it wont be any less of a day spent or wasted if you dont come with "KONI/GC", FULL 32 adjustable shocks, blinged out LCA and bushings, or whatever...
