There were quite a few bone stock 98 CW R's for sale in the 100K miles range from several OG's on Honda-Tech. They took a LONG time to sell even when they listed them at $12K range.
And considering the mods, the value should be even *lower*. Mainly Tein HA, rollbar, and fuel rail.
Just an advice to the seller if he wants to sell quick.

I had 2. Sold one and keeping the other one.
You can either agree or disagree with my advice, but don't call me names. It just shows how much an idiot you are.

Lately I have not been much of a fan of people coming into for sale threads and criticizing someone's asking price. It's not very "polite" to the the OP AND if anything Wai should want people to get top dollar for their R's as it would increase his chances of getting top dollar for his.
If anyone has a problem with someones ASKING price, especially when it is in the ballpark of what others are asking, and airs it openly with examples of tired examples of 98's selling for less then, IMO, they are themselves either : a) a lowballer who wants to drop the price so they can buy it themselves OR b) just good old hating.
Let this man sell his car
<----98's are my fav.

How about c), advice given so the seller can actually sell the car quick?
And first and foremost, this is not the Vehicle for Sale forum, so I think we are all entitled to comment on this thread. You don't see me going to the VFS forum and post ANY opinions on people's asking price, do you? If it is posted here in a "discussion" forum, it will be "discussed". It's that simple.

Very nice find! Could you please tell me which one of those has close to 117K miles?
How about I tell you the ones that were actually sold with similar mileage?
43! took him 2 attemps, spanning a 6-month period, to sell his stock CW with 100K+ miles for $12XXX.
Jones (forgot his screen name, he instructed Expo 6 in a yellow Spec Miata), also took him several attempts and finally sold his bone stock CW with 104K miles for $12K.
Am I trying to help? Or trying to hate?
