Default H22 replacement sleeve strenth 90MM bore???

i am thinking about sleeving a h22 and boring it out to 90mm for boost
which sleeves would be able to take the abuse.
the engine will also have a 97mm stroke. i am thinking about a t66 and maybe 25psi

You are going to have almost no room for error with 90mm. Anything happens to that cylinder, your f*cked. Personally, I dont think it is worth the extra displacement, but thats just me.

2.4 liters
now if i went with a 100mm stroke i could reach 2.5 liters with a 90mm bore
i can get the crank done without any problem its just the sleeves i am alittle worried about.

omg if you want 2.5L so bad, go do a k24/k20 head and then sleeve/bore that and then get a larger crank as well..

Sometimes I wonder why people are willing to risk so much on thin *** sleeves. I understand youre going for more displacement , but if you can make sick amounts of power on 87mm why not stick to reliablity and room for any mistakes.

Solution to displacement = Don't be a ***** and crank the boost controller.

What exactly are you trying to build? What are your power goals? Track or street? Have you driven even a turbo h22? If you have you would see no reason to need to go 2.5 and turbo. Your going to go nowhere fast. What exactly are you driving now that you need to do a 2.5L with a T66 and 25psi haha?

If you are serious, what make you think a 2.5L h22 is going to be cheap? If you really need all that displacement just do a k24a on boost.

thats more expencive and i cant cheaply swap that into a accord

its just a personal goal and i am a n/a guy so i want to build a 2.4-2.5 liter engine that will make good power off boost.

and i have owned a turbo car before figured its time to start planning another one

i wouldn't have a problem keeping it to a 88mm bore if its bullet proof.

Didnt even think about it being a accord. Personally if you want more torque. I would just do a h22 with h23/f22 crank. I can understand you wanting more torque off boost and the 2.4/2.5 will give you the torque. A fwd honda and being a accord which is like what 3000lbs+? is just going to break loose once the turbo spools.

i have a f22 crank in my na h22 already.
i want the same hp but the extra spool to the turbo.
the 97mm crank and 9:5.1 compression will make 200 +whp n/a so then i add on the T66
i am going to use a accord tranny so 160+ top speed isnt a problem
i am going to try to keep is quiet with a cat and full exhaust.
i have no hp goals and i might use water/met injection for high boost runs. maybe keep a 5gallon tank in the trunk
