AHHH! Tire rub on one side? Help!
Well i finally got fed up and decided to find out why im getting an alternating rubbing sound coming from the front driver side wheel well when i make a semi hard or fast right turn. But i cant find the problem for the life of me. It doesnt rub or make the sound at all when i make left hand turns, even hard fast ones. This is what baffled me. On top of that, its not always a constant rubbing sound.
unless im making a FAST right turn, otherwise its an alternating rubbing sound. Ah by the way i have a civic with koni/sportlines and 205/40/17's.... I know i know i shoulda got 16's but thats besides the point now. Anyone else have this problem??
. ok...HELP!!!

stock shocks?
how much do you weigh and how much of a drop?
if its only when you do hard RIGHT turns all the weight is on the left side of the car, so its probably comming from the left side, rear.
you have a system in the trunk? my 17"s rub only when my car is fully loaded (3-4 people, i have a 200lb system in the trunk)

Hey
I got koni yellows with eiback sportlines which is an awsome setup. Im a lightweight 145 and i dont have a system anymore. But i did check the driver side rear and guess what...i noticed that my tread in the inside is uneven. you know how i said that the rubbing was alternating. well the tread is worn that way too. the inner part of the tire has an alternating tire wear pattern to it
i never would have guessed it would have been my driver rear. anyway lemme jack this thing up and see what we got...
