Water Spots!
I washed/waxed my car last weekend and on Wednesday my car got soaked by the sprinklers at work...it must have beaded up nicely, but it was an 80 degree day so when I came out, I noticed the water spots were baked onto the paint. Anyways...I washed my car today and I could not get rid of the water spots. I washed it again and they were still there! After I dried it, I tried Meguiars Glaze on a little spot on the hood...didn't work. I tried a little bit of Meguiars Cleaner Wax...didn't work. What can I use to get rid of these spots? Or am I cursed with a blistery paint job forever?
get some fine cut 3m polishing compound. Put a drop on the water spot and use a 100% cotton terry cloth or tshirt to rub it out.
i had that happen to me
but then i had someone back in to my car while i was at work (the same day) and i got a new hood
if you have a random orbital buffer, you might want to wax your car again with some cleaner wax this time......that also might work
