Default PCV system on an ITR, need help

I know the PCV goes from the manifold to the breather box. But On my ITR manifold ther eis an opening for the pcv valve. My mechanic ran the line straight to the breather box. The line is attached to red valve that plugs into the breather box. Am I missing something, or is the setup okay? Is there something that supposed to plug into the opening near ther runner (under the fuel rail)
