Default Looking for opinions....Skunk2 intake manifold special colors

We did a test on powdercoating Skunk2 manifolds to give people a little different taste.

We just finished one and wanted to see what you guys thought. All opinions are welcomed.

The powdercoating can hold up to 300 degree F.

All the heat that is tranfered to the manifold, wouldnt it just be trapped in there with the coating?

hmm, yea.. you can get a heat gun/thermo gun or whatever,, do some before and after, run the engine on a dyno for 20mins, take 5-6 readings from the manifold, then swap the skunk on, do the same, see what happens..

We can do basically any color you guys would like.

I knew that the topic would come up if the heat will dissiapate or not. We will put it to the test soon.

If this is a heat coating then I just think it would work. If it was like spray paint then sure. All the heat that the aluminum should disapate will be trapped in there heating up all the air coming in.
