well i just bought a set of mugen mr5's for a bit of a bargain price. but there white and have all the lug covers missing (where can i get new ones). i dont know what to get them refurbed to. also i dont know what to do with the bolts? can they be replaced? should i get a polished lip on them? should the centres be black? silver? ect

heres my car, i just took these pics with my phone so there not the best and the weathers really bad.

they look sick just like that, i say rock them.

 

I would strip and paint them silver again check ebay for the covers but they are $$

 

i must admit i thought they could look terriable with the cel blue but i would prefer the mr5's to look as there were ment to. the white paint is a rubbish job, just sprayed over the bolts and everything then put those red mugen stickers on them.

Also do the mr5's come with a mugen badge or sticker that sticks onto one of the spokes?
What type of bolt are they i cant tell what head is on them?
How about black mr5's with a silver or polished lip?

 

also what wheel bolts do i use with these wheels? anyone know where i can buy a set of new bolts that attach the centre to the rim?

I would find the size and order some new allen heads in stainless, that would be sweet

 

im hoping to replace with oem style bolts, i think the bbs split rims use the same bolts.
i took the wheels to a local place thats know for being the best round here for wheels and he wanted £100 per wheel for black centres with polished lips so i think i willl have a go my self.

do you mean the lugnuts? if so I believe the mugen uses stock style nuts

 

very nice, i haven't seen an all white set before. Lug caps and center caps pop up on eBay here and there.

BIG *** pic warning!!! The crx is polished lip with a glossy light grey center. The hatch is the same, but not as glossy.
