Default If your trapping 101-105mph....?

What should your 1/4 mile time be?

Last year i trapped 82mph and pulled a 15.0 bone stock

Last NIGHT with the supercharger, azenis, suspension, intake, exhaust etc
i pulled a 14.5... at 101 and a second run at 105.

The other new si's that were STOCK or bolt on's were pulling mid 16's which is VERY high.

Not sure if something was wrong at the track , but when we got there the tree & other things had "technical" difficulties.

Thoughts

Thanks
- mike

105 should yield mid 13's on street tires. I went 13.50 @ 101mph with a 1.9 60' ft.

From personal experience, seems to me that your times & traps don't match up. 15.0 at 82 mph is just way too slow of a trap speed, and 14.5 at 101 and 105 mph trap is fast for that time, unless you're just spinning like crazy.

crappy short time. what was it?
hook it up, trap will slow, e.t. will drop.

I have Azenis 615's

the runs last night
The first run was a "weak" launch but i didnt want wheel hop and wanted to hook up and get the linear boost on the SC
the 2nd run i spun through first, bogged a big in 2nd but once it hooked up the car pulled great.

I have the slips from last night at home I'll copy up the info tonight here
the ones from last year I dont have any more

COULD have been an 88mph but i'm 95% sure it was 82-83 ish.

The 82mph trap from last time was either wrong or you let off before the traps. There is no way that is correct. My automatic 06 EX trapped 83.

the 40 series tires is what is killing your 60' ... The low profile tires are MUCH harder than say a 55 or 60 series... Get some 15's at least...

I think you guys are forgetting his car weighs about 2900 pounds.

You need to work on your 60's... Just keep going to track more and try different styles of launching, times will get better and yah 18's aren't made for drag racing

Switched to 22 inch slicks
13.51 @ 98mph w/ 1.74 60'

The general rule is an extra one tenth per 100 pounds.

that looks about right due to the 60' id think if that were a 2.1 youd be DEEP into the 13's with that mph.. doesnt look like the tracks timing was off.

and look at you 1/8 trap, compared to th 15.0 @ 82... with my old LS automatic on a 50 shot, i ran 15.2 @ ~90 ... 88 would sound right to me
