i got some stuff for my b-day (last thursday) including rims and an aem cai, oh and a honda-tech t-shirt....here's the pics of the new rims as the intake and t-shirt have yet to arrive!











and yes...i realize they are chrome...but i can't tell that they hinder my performance much (if at all) and they look good to me which is what matters cuz it's my car!...haha...tell me what you think!

about those GC's...250 is way too much...haha...just playin shan...nah..i'm lookin at some koni yellows right now...and tokico struts...and it's hailing here right now so maybe my hood will be damaged and the insurance company could just settle with me and get a cf hood...maybe i'm a little too optimistic...but lowering the best is the next stage in my project...then it's on to the engine!

 

oh another thing...my tires are 215/45/17 (yeah i know they are pretty thick)...how low should i go to get a nice fit and nice ride quality?...i'm thinkin 1.5" max...

the chrome wheels and tires are exactly 2.5 lb's (each) heavier than my stock wheels, hub caps, and tires...not bad...but they handle soooo much better!...i like them even though they are heavier...and i just keep thinking that once i make it fast with these wheels i'll put light weight ones on and my car will fly (i hope...and that's if i don't break an axle first)...thanks for the input guys...!
