Default 90 CRX SI (Just got it, Starting work)

Just picked up this 90 CRX SI over the weekend down in Memphis. Got a really good deal on it and am pleasantly suprised so far. Absolutely no fluid leaks, I recharged the A/C and it works, I tore down the front end and only found minimal damage to (1) small area. No rust at all (unless you consider rust off of bolts). New radiator, new battery, new intake, new axles, new header, new full exhaust, short shifter and ****, crappy coilovers. I do need a 90-91 front bumper if anyone has one lying around, It came with the 88-89 bumper Also needing fenders if they are cheap, this one has vented fiberglass ones. And spring/shock setup if you have a good barely used setup.

It looks like mine when I first got it!

Nice rear disk's, and you got the cargo cover. Lucky find, keep it clean!

upper frame rail looks messed up.. thats not really minor damage. hope you fix that properly. short shifter doesnt look short at all, but maybe its just meant to have the stock length on the top?

looks good though.

Is that a red EA hatch parked next to the CRX in the second picture?

clean it up and fix all the little things....paint and drive it to keep the miles off of my xB. I might do little things here and there, but until the motor goes out, probably nothing to major. Ive got some GSR wheels ill probably slap on it. Maybe get the seats recovered or another set.

not sure how great it is to own a moving refrigerator (lol, the xB), but congrats on the CRX purchase, looks to be in good shape.

you would be very suprised how much you might like the xB once you get into it. It handles just as good as any car ive had. Pretty peppy with the 5 speed as well.

oh yea...the toaster is awesome...it handles much better then you think it may not. I've put 70k+ miles on it..and i've had it for about 2 years now...i've done nothing but changed the sparks once..and oil changes...and i'm still getting 35+mpg..

I paid $200 more for a '91 DX with no issues beyond seat bolsters and engine was covered in dirt and crap.

Definitely a good find, keep up the good work. BTW Capa-Certified autoparts are OEM fitment and you can find the fenders if you look for them. I don't remember where I got my passenger one but it fits perfect and was $110 shipped.

ive found all the parts local capa certified but i was trying to find a better deal here on HT first.

new hood - $100
Fenders - $95 each
Front Bumper - $125

Total - $415 for a completely new front end.

I am hopeing that someone can ship me a pair of good used ones for under $100 off of here. Ive talked to several people and they say they will sell them for $75 shipped and then they dont ever get back to me Im sure ill buy the new hood local and save on shipping. But I cant find a single cheap good used bumper. Im afraid ill have to buy it new too.
