wiring to the alternator?

Default wiring to the alternator?

on the green plug that plugs into the alternator there is 4 wires which go in one of mine isnt connected but its not like you can just connect them because it needs to be in there does anyone know what each wire is for and what one missing will do? i am not sure how much it affects it it may just be a ground or something i have no clue

well do you know i can hook one up that is disconnected because there isnt a peice sticking out to connect it to
