clutch drop tranny?
ok i searched this i am usual in the EF fourm but i am changin a clutch for a friend and was wondering if changing the 91 accord clutch is gonna be about the same as changing my crx clutch juss wanting to know what i am getting into before anybody says anything i have changed many clutches in a ef chassie juss wondering bout the accord chassie
Same basics, but on the accord you'll want to remove the top case part of the shift linkage, trans in neutral, and stuff some rags in there to keep it clean.
You need the extra room for clearance when coming out with the trans.
Also the trans tail mount, has to be slipped off as you lower the trans and slipped back on as it goes up and in.
And there is a bolt going thru the back of the block into the trans that is up high and hard to see.
If you have done a CRX this should be no problem for you.
