aftermarket fuel rail gains?
what kind of fuel rail hp gains using an aftermarket fuel rail, such as AEM and other leading brands? I was told that it won't make **** difference. I use 880cc injectors.
unless your making alot of power a fuel rail isn't gonna do anything for ya. its not gonna give any horsepower either, just provide the injectors with a little more fuel. If what your doing doesn't require upgrading the rest of the fuel system, then you won't need a rail.
I use one because of the ability to use an aftermarket regulator and steel braided lines without banjo clamps, and because most of them have a guage port which is nice.

I understand, seems weird though because a lot of people get them, but for what specific reason? if you have high injectors, I see no reason for a fuel rail.
well, I am pushing close to 400whp. I haven't dyno'ed yet, but I would assume that the fuel rail would help at least a little. I'm running out of ideas to make my car fast, I've done just about everything I can do without throwing nitrous on there.

well that's really all I can do. I'm running 15psi daily, and I plan on bumping up to 23 or so when I put my dual stage boost controller on, and the obx intake manifold I have. Just a question to see if it was worth it.
Yeah, a bigger fuel rail does not make more hp unless the current rail is starving the engine of fuel in which case you may notice other problems besides low hp numbers
Aftermarket rails are good because there's many ways to hook them up and they usually have a variety of ports for nitrous or gauges or whatever...
