What would the best swap be for a 1996 honda civic dx 2dr coupe?
If money wasnt a concern....so im not talking about ...best bang for buck or whatever, I just want to know what would be BEST... mainly from the K series. The K24A2? Thats what i heard but im not sure if thats the best one.

In best i mean, most speed and power that i would be able to get out of the car. Crazy quarter mile speeds with the K series...

depends. are you going turbo or n/a? for turbo, i would go b-series, but i guess i've never seen too many 600+whp k-series, although it's completely possible, i just don't know too much about the fi aftermarket for k-series. but for n/a, hands down it would be a fully built k24 bottom with a k20 type-r head with upgraded valvetrain, cams, p&p and then a type-r 6-speed tranny. that would be a monster.

All your doing is wasting Forum space, this **** has been covered and if your afraid of the search button, then click over a few pages and you'll find some other d00d that asked the same thing. Sorry, I'm in a really bad mood right now.

doesn't matter which k24 you get if your not leaving it stock. if you do leave it stock, the best one would be the one from the tsx.

anything could be possible...what i would do first is look for a DD for a couple thousand, then drop in a k20 mildly built with maybe a SC.
