Situation is, getting everything ready for the y8 head to go on my a6 block. I put the arp studs in tonight (studs are for a d16y8) and the top left stud sits about an inch higher than the rest. I noticed that on the a6 head... the surface that the headbolt tightens against is higher on the top left also. The problem is that the y8 surfaces in the head are all the same height, and consequently the stud sticks up higher into the head than the rest.

Will it still work, or what do i need to do??
