Default Need some advice for a DA integra

As a former owner of a 93 Ls-s, I am a huge fan of DA integras. I am considering selling my Maxima and getting a 92 integra off of a friend. I wanted to see what you guys think as far as the car being worth it. It will be kind of a beater but I feel like I will spend some money getting some of the stupid things fixed.

Details:
92 GS, Captiva Blue
Automatic (ugh)
138k miles
new dizzy

The good:
Power windows, locks, etc work
Body has no dings and no rust
Motor seems pretty strong
Interior is good, except for a few carpet stains

The bad:
Seems to be clunk from the rear of the car, no idea what it is
Clearcoat is faded on the hood and roof
small scratch on the bumper
Windshield is cracked (~how much to replace?)
Shifts kind of hard going in to 2nd gear
Radio does not work (already have my old CD player w/ DA harness)
Antenna is broken off
Missing the rear drivers side molding
possible small exhaust leak

He only wants 900 for it, does that seem worth it?

that clunking noise could be a bad bushing in the suspension. Should check it out, that could be a pain in the butt to replace.

700 is the most i would pay

the clunking should be a bushing most likey from the lower or uper control arm

the windshild should be about 80$ for a new one put in but you will have to get a new windshild from the junk yard or get a new one made.

everything else just sounds like wear and tear thats on any old car.

aftermarket rear LCA's?

Is it easy to inspect for a bad bushing - can you see the torn/rotted rubber from underneath?

Edit: thanks guuys for all the input, this is a big help.

I'm just not happy about the automatic, thats the only thing holding me back.

I just got a quote for $170 to replace the windshield. Not too bad.

do YOU want to do it?

Sad thing is I sold my totalled teg shell with a great transmission and a new clutch. I haven't owned an AT since my first car.

Is it possible that a mere change of transmission fluid could help the had shift into 2nd, or are auto integras plagued by this problem?

I still appreciate the positive feedback, it motivates me to sell my Maxima. I may buy the DA and fix it while I get the maxima ready to sell.

Da teg is the way to go....As far as the trans...I would go with a 5 speed swap as mentioned before..I could have helped you out with that a month ago, just sold my DA....good luck btw all the cons you listed are easy fixes
