EDIT: got the thing open, just needed to soak the screws for a second to get it to open, now that Im at the bulb with it out, how exactly does it disconnect? It has a white wire going underneath it, but I cant seem to get the bulb to POP out

Wat size bulb is it?

I picked up a set of square foglights off what I believe is a 88-89 prelude, the square older style anyways, maybe 6X3" foglights

I tested them on a spare battery just touching the power and ground, one light works fine, the other one does nothing

Hoping its the bulb, but I cant seem to figure out how to get at it aside from prying at the front cover

I dno't have one off the car so I can't tell you exactly, but I think it was just a few bolts and the front comes off. But you need to solder on a spade connector to the wiring because the replacement bulb will use one but the factory doesn't.

 

The bulb seems to have 2 bare prongs on it and the white wire is simple solderred onto the end of one of them.

Is there a specific bulb I should buy?

It has one wire coming off it, peel back the white cover to find the connection
