I got my car with no motor and no emblems and was wondering how to tell what model it was

Thanks.. My car has had the dash harness replaced but I don't know if the harness is a hf harness or si harness. I read on a different post there was a difference in the igniter wire between these two harnesses, and I want to make sure I get the right one.

 

so how do I tell the difference between harnesses?

 

ok easy answer all si's have sunroofs, hf's dont

look for the vin # on the dash (driver side) or between the door jams or on the T bar under the hood.

Ok so now I know my car is a dx. I know its either an hf or si dash harness in it, but how do I tell the difference there to know what engine harness to get?

 

Si and Hf have the same wiring harness.

Si's come with mag's, rear wiper, black seats/interior, front and rear sway bars ect

 

yea right, hook up a HF harness to your SI and Gaurantee no start, theres like 5 diff wires so if you hook either si into hf or vice versas it WILL not start. I had a no spark prob for 2 weeks, turned out this was the problem

 

I thought they were the same too, but I read this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1913485 and it was telling me differently...

 

so how do I look and see the difference or test to tell the difference?
