hi does anyone know how to put out a dash light im not sure what its for all i can tell you
is its in the middle of the console warning light next to door ajar lights rad in colour and the symbol is shape like a box with three small wavy lines coming of it top and bottom of the box,
my car is a gen4 2.2vtec jap import 1992

that might be thebattery light. but not sure..

 

no its not that one its in between the door open light and the brake fliud level light and its color is red.anyone got any ideas

Don't the Japanese models have cat temp sensors?

 

would this affect performance of the engine i have been doing a gear box conversion on the car had to take of mid box noticed wire has come of a sensor at the back of the cat.

I don't know. I would tend to think not. Although a clogged/melted cat might.
