Default fitment questions B18 auto tranny in Del Sol

hey guys, this is the first time that i swap a B motor into an EG chassis. so i have a few fitment questions.

right i have a 1993 with a stock D15 in it right now. and auto tranny. i got a good deal on a B18B1 full swap. the swap has the stock B18 auto tranny. i know the motor will fit right in but will the tranny line up and fit right in? i called HMO to double check, i wanted to talk to someone who actually knew what they were talking about, and he said that the auto tranny off the B18 will not fit into the car. due to the fact that its a auto tranny and that the mounts wont line up. and also that the wiring will not work cus the motor and the tranny each has its own ECU?

if someone can please shed some more light on this, that will be much appreciatted

Carlos

I dont think teh tranny and motor have different ecus...
I think you can open the ecu and look for something in a certian area, my roommate knows.

As far as the mounts not sure. But if so much honda stuff is interchangeable then why not the tranny mounts heh.

Im not sure about the mounts.
but i beleive that an Ecu for the motor and an ECU for the tranny is needed with that swap.

it would have to be an auto integra ecu.

Yep,youre going to need the auto ecu. If not,its not going to work. I dont see why you would have any fitment issues either.
