Default Which type R

Hey guys first post here, im lokin to get a type R soon and i wanted to know whats the best year of type R, and what are the downfalls and pitfalls and the benifits of certain years, and also if possible hte price ranges of them.

i think the 97's were the only ones that didnt have ac and a rear wiper. and the 99+ did. im not sure. you should ask this in the itr forum if you havent already

98 as wel dont have ac or wiper. and ther is no 99 over here. yellow and blk 00,01

In '98 they put all that stuff back on the car as factory stock. Only in '97 did they lack AC and rear wiper from the factory. AC was dealer optional in '97, and most '97 R's probably did come with the AC.

97-98 because CW is the best color. The rear wipers suck so everyone takes them off anyhow, and you can retro fit A/C if you feel the need. Also most 97-98 are higher mileage so therefore cheaper.

Note... good luck finding a 97 Type R, I believe under 500 were brought here to the US so they have a huge premium. Not to mention that insurance knows this so it's very expensive in that aspect to! Good luck though!
