broken alarm remote
the remote for my car alarm doesnt work anymore and i really have no way to turn the alarm off (cant find the box anywhere in the car). ive tried searching for a replacement remote for it (its a python lcd remote) and found some, but am trying to figure out how to program it. does anyone know if i will be able to program the remote being that my original one is broken? i cant find instructions for it anywhere, nor can i find any official python alarm web site. thanks.

If you purchase a remote new in the packaging, the instructions will be on the back.
However, you will need to know where the valet/prorgamming switch is in order to program the new remote. I know you said you looked, but you need to find the brain. Does the alarm have an LED? Follow the LED wire back to the brain. Then, find the blue connector, and follow that wire to the valet/programming switch.
Have you checked eBay for a new remote?

yeah usually the programming switch on pythons are grey and black, so if you can find the brain or a braided set of grey and black wires follow that to find the switch so you can program it.I believe its key on , within 5 seconds hit the button once ,then hit again and hold it down this time, youll hear one chirp, hit unlock and you should hear it chirp again and then turn the key off and let the switch off
