Default Stock 89DX CRX Automatic - Replacement Trans Options?

I have an 89 CRX DX with an Automatic Transmission. It has 180k on it. Sometimes it shifts smoothly out of first, sometimes it jolts the whole car. Fluid level is correct, checked while running, its red, not dark at all.

What replacement options do I have?

Seems like a big project to replace pedals, install clutch lines, clutch cylinder, shifter, linkage, trans, ecu, etc etc (there is an auto-manual conversion list/guide)...

How bad would it be to find another Auto trans that bolts up?

What are my options? Stock motor with 180k on it, it's just a daily... Do not have the place yet to do a major project unless it's my only option (have access to shop but do not want to burn that bridge yet).

Suggestions welcome... I would think whatever trans I need (if some one knows the code(s) I'd appreciate it!) would be inexpensive/common?

Thank you!
