From: some place you can't steal my car
So my rear JDM CRX seat is installed but I still need to mount the belts. Before you tell me to search first before asking I’ve already queried EVERY archived subject here as well as other forums. I even found a few that were incorrect and suggesting to mount the outer point of the lap belt to where the pillar mounted generation CRX place the belt retractor. By my sig you can see I have a 90 hf and thus door mounted belts, but I am converting them to pillar currently as well, so besides this area being used, and (also not correct), I need to find the real place where they should go. Does anybody know? The pillar mounted retractor area also is too far fwd when you compare to the JDM side storage boxes where the seat belt slot is. It makes no safety sense to have the anchor part way down your hip! Any pics or actual correct information would be appreciated. I want to do this right the first time!!!
Below are the posts I found of value, the one details the improper location where to mount in the pillar mount belt retractor area:

No comments about actual utility of a CRX rear seat, or headroom/legroom/legality/getting another car please.

if you have access to a ef hatch take a look where the belts attatch under the seats ...the crx has square holes in the same position....what i did is found a bolt that would go threw the seat belt end ..than found a nut to fit that bolt...slightly dent the area around the square and weld the nut down...you can not tell from looking or sitting in the back seat that you did this mod...hope this helps...
