swap having problems...
Ok so ive got a crx si with a ls/v running of a p28.
So I swapped the engine from a known running car and
it acts really funny.
It is really low on power. At first I thought I might of wired the injectors
wrong but I tested them and they were in the right order.
So whats happening is is seems like its only running of 3 cylinders or less.
If you give it full throttle the engine will die. You have to keep on
giving it gas until it warms up.
When it does warm up and idle crappy but doesnt die. You can take out #2
plug wire and it almost makes no difference. You have to put it really close to
a ground to hear the same spark as you would from any other cylinder wire.
So I thought that maybe I got a dead wire or something. It seems to be coming
poping pretty strong from the cap. So I replaced the wire with another and still
the same thing.
Oh yeah and im not getting any check engine lights.

ok are you guys series. what the hell
You DONT need to chip a p28 to run with a dual cam engine.
and by the way this ecu was running with this engine and the dist thats on there.
I think its actually a b16 ecu but im not 100 percent sure. But I do know its not a gsr
ecu. But that shouldn't matter any way because the engine was running fine with
that distributor and that ecu.
And yes ive got a obd0 to obd1 jumper
Anybody on have some advice, some things I may need to check.
