Default Baking Headlights Method? Will it work with..

Okay first off.. DEPO sucks hahaha.. i knew i shoulda bought real square fogs!!!..

anyways.. okay i took the fog lights off today oh btw its for a 96-98.. umm i opened it up and the condensation basically made the laminate crack inside of the fog light.. so i took off the glass.. will baking the fog lights the same way like doing the headlights work? im trying to take apart the glass so i can repaint the inside..

The lens on DEPO's should come off with screws...

aftermarket sealant is usually a bitch to get off. You will be baking for a long time. But it's glass, so no worries. JUST DONT GET NEAR ANY WATER FOR LIKE AN HOUR AND A HALF. lol seriously. Some water accidentally splashed on my EK glass fogs after like 10 mins...and it cracked the hell outta the glass. I had to bake it at 450, then it didnt come off, so i had to hold it over the stove on an open flame and melt the glue and pry VERY carefully. It took me for ever.

I know what you're trying to do, but I was trying to let you know that on DEPO foglights, the front lens comes off so you can just bake that and not risk damaging your housing or wiring.

http://alsacorp.com/products/m...o.htm

They also sell candy yellow paint so you can do the inside of your lens

**EDIT**

Just realized that you may not have access to a spraygun .....

Rustoleum makes a chrome spray, and so does Testors (model paint). Baring that, you can get it re-electropated chrome.
