Default seat mount welds falling apart

sup fellas, this happened to the rear mounts in my 88 rex and I'm wondering how many others this has happened to, and what you did to repair it. It was with a racing seat on the stock sliders, and since it's a track car I think I might just weld in a bracket to bolt the seat to unless someone did another repair that sounds better. Also posting this as a heads up to anyone driving our old cars, could get dangerous.

yea both of my fat roomates did that. i welded it back in then welded a big fender washer over the whole thing to reinforce it. my jeep did that also it was too rusted to weld the old one back on so i welded a nut in place of it.
