How much HP shot of NOS can this take. It would be a fogger system with ZEX Nitrious kit.

Well, my freind was using the Venom kit. He has a 95 EX D16a6 and was using the 75 shot with no problems. Then again another freind of mine with a 2000 SI was using the ZEX kit with the 75 shot and fried his pistons. To be safe 50HP shot

 

OK i was thinking of a 75 SHOT progressive. Then run high octane gas

 

b16's also have a compression of 10.2:1 and a d16a6 has a compression of 9:1 that could be why his blew, im not a bgi fan of nos, but if you were to go w/ one get the zex proggesive system its prolly the safest

 

yeah but a d16a6 with a d16z6 head has 10.4 to 1 compression........boom

 

Compression with nitrous is pretty much irrelevant. It's not adding anything more to the combustion chamber. You fry pistons when your fuel supply can't keep up with the demand; nitrous will happily bond with the piston molecules instead of the fuel molecules if there aren't enough fuel molecules to go around. However, when running a higher shot because you're adding more fuel it's a good idea to add more spark also... keep it lit off well.

 

if compression will be too high then i can use double head gaskets.

maybe then just a 50 shot system

 

 

just go with a 50 shot to be on the safe side.

 

both can only take up to 75 dry w/o reinforced rods. you go higher you will need stronger internals and kick *** fuel management... which you should have allready

 

the rods will take a 85 shot, but pistons will melt.

180-175-20-180 are my compression numbers now.

 

So i guess 50 shot is safe then thru the ZEX direct port kit?

 

Will a 50 shot spin the tires when you hit it at WOT in second gear?

You don't need a bottle opener.
