where to connect gauge to dim with interior

where to connect gauge to dim with interior
i'm installing a gauge and i wanted to know where to tap into to get the gauge to light up when the interior lights turn on. preferably something near the center console/stereo. there has to be something in the stereo's wire harness. anyone know what wire to tap into? TIA
