Adjusting clutch engagement point?
anyone know how to adjust the engagement point on a base civic clutch? i think it engages to high off the floor and would like to see if i can get it to "catch" a little lower.
thanks for the input

The last time I did a" serious " clutch adjustment was on my 91 ZC'd CRX... then it was basically as simple as adjusting a bolt(s)... not quite the same on a newer vehicle. Why are you trying to adjust the clutch in the first place?
it catches too high off the floor for my liking. i was just used to barely gettin the pedal off the floor and it catches when i drive my friends DC around and when i drove around my cousins old EJ. what i do sometimes in not clutch all the way down when im starting 1st gear. and so when the light turns green i just release a bit, gas a bit, and im off.
i would be nice if i got to do it, but if its too complicated and requires more than just a twist from a wrench i can live with how it is now.
