Default Power loss on dyno due to check engine light?

Hi...

I was wondering if the check engine light has anything to do with my power loss on the dyno. The throttle body sensor is throwing the code... Because of this I have lost 9hp and 8lb of torque at the wheels since my last dyno runs. Its a n/a type R hybrid. Could it be somethin else? Is it possible that I'm losing that much power just because of that silly sensor???
Thanks for any imput!!!!

i think it is it might due to unseen factors, kinda like when i have a test pipe and the CEL comes on, i lose hella torque/hp , it feels sluggish...shrug, could just be me, so i put back the stock cat , CEL disappears and it goes back to normal..

when my CEL light comes on the cars rev limiter cuts in at 6500rpm and vtec wont engage, so 9hp down isnt so bad unless you've over rode the CEL safety system which does both of the above.

Is it the MAP or TPS sensor. If either are messed up you will see peformance loss.

TPS is critical in a speed-density car. Fix it first. ECU calculates air-fuel and ignition from TPS, MAP, and IAT. Any one of those fails and power will be down since ECU substitutes a default value.
