OK guys after doing a compression and leekdown test it has been determined that my pistons rings are kakka....pulled the head need new pistons/rings bore and hone....expensive and time consumeing.... i can buy a new block and found one that was a B16 with PCT pistons in it fresh rebuild but i was wondering how would that work with a P72 head?? no good b/c of the quench pads or just get a stock gsr/b16 block and rebuild mine later, time is a concern b/c im leaving for my third trip to iraq in the near future but the fact that my minion is not doing so well is a thorn in my side. so. b16 with PCT pistons or a stock GSR/b16...?
