Default Can I paint the stock plastic side skirts?

This is another stupid question, but can I paint the stock plastic side skirts that came with my GSR? I want it to be the color of the rest of my car.

I know people paint plastic lips, so I'm thinkin I should be able to do this, but I really have no idea.

Yes of course. How do you think ITR sideskirts are? Make sure you use the urethane type of paint, the one that allows flexability. Otherwise the paint will crack and flake off.

No special paint required, scuff, clean shoot sealer, color and clear.
Done.

yeah you dont need the special paint for the sideskirts...just regular paint will do. however, i'd suggest using a copious amount of clearcoat...because if you don't shoot real 'wet' coats it's going to look like crap in a few months and basically be just dull to the touch

you do want to use the special urethane paint for a front lip if you have one and your mudflaps if you're planning on doing those, since they will be flexing

Yes, through the shop I remember doing a set for a buddie for $50 bucks.
I wouldnt say a shop would charge more then $100 bucks and they will be perfect, you will barely be able to buy the correct materials for that price.
