Any differernt ? Cuz Im going to buy a type-s.My freind he is a dealer..he wants me to get the Rsx regular one...he said their both are same.just the name???

There a lot of differences. Buy the Type-S, don't bother with a base.

Must be a a different kind of dealer, because he doesn't know the first thing about RSX's.

 

k20 engine, 6th gear, leather interior... just some of the differences

 

I always hated the leather in my old Type-S.

 

Yeah, I've never been a fan of leather. It's too hot in the summer, cracks in the winter, and you slide all over the seat like your *** is lubed.

Both are k20's

Base = k20a3 - 160 hp vtec only on intake cam

Type-s = k20a2 or k20z1 - 200 hp vtec lobe on intake and exhaust cam plus higher compression

base has 160 hp 5 spd, while type s has 200hp 6 spd....thats all i needed to no when i bought my rsx. but seriously you should do some research before you post something like that. thats like asking the difference between 400 watt amp n a 800 watt amp.

 

A quick search on the internet, and places like edmunds.com, would quickly show you the differences.

It's not that difficult.
