Hi all.
I'm a new owner of a '99 CR-V and guess what? The clock only works when I hit it and the driver's door doesn't lock/unlock with the remote.
Looking on the forums, these seem to be pretty standard problems so...

1. I know the clock is probably down to dodgy connectors or soldering on the PCB and I'm very confident I can sort that... what I DO know is that I'll snap all the clips off trying to work out how to get the air vent panel out of the dash.
Could anyone who's done it, give specific details? (I guess it needs a flat spatula or two slid down the gap, but do I 'push', 'slide left and right', 'twist' or what?

2. Where do I start, tracking down the door lock problem. If it is most likely to need a new actuator, I won't even start pulling it apart (I've had enough trouble inside doors before!), but if it is likely to be just a lubrication job or plug fallen out, I'll give it a go.
