There is no sway bar for the rear because it is a torsion bar type rear suspension. Personally, the handling of the Fit is pretty frickin sweet. When I give it hell, I have yet to make the tires squeal.

But, it does have a front swaybar, get the T1R front sway bar, and the only way to improve the rear is to get stiffer springs/shocks, but it is hard to find separates, so get a full coilover suspension. T1R is the only one I know of at the moment.

Go search the Suspension forum for more info.

you wouldnt want a bigger front sway bar, that will induce more understeer...you want oversteer...

I've never heard this complaint. Reviews rave about the stock handling.

Yep, understeer is my only complaint about the Fit's stock handling. I've pushed it pretty hard and not had it break loose yet, just a hint of understeer.

Understeer and I'm not too fond of these stock tires. I remember taking a left turn pretty quickly and sliding way off my intended line.

However, they did EXTREMELY well in the snow.

After moving to 205/45-16's I noticed that the FIT felt more stable and the body roll didn't bother me as much then.

coming from a dropped DC5 the body roll bothered me the first few days but not anymore.

sway bar can be added to torsion beam . just need more work, and i have the know hows.

i put 16 inch rims and T1-S toyo tires on my car as soon as it left the show room so i dont know how bad the stock tire would suck... with these tires. the car grips the road too well that it rolls to a scary degree. so if i can some how stiffen up the rear even more, this thing should rip around like a go kart

right now i cant make my tires to squek because 1 the tires grip well. 2 the body rolls too much and eating up the turning motion and because of that, i cant push the car for even more . tires not squeking doesnt mean that the fit handles well. i just need to stiff up the rear and push the tires to their limit to get better handling
