you dont mount a stereo in there. it deletes the stereo... hence the name stereo block off plate.

wow it's such an easy concept. he wants to know if anyone cut a hole in the block off plate and fit a radio. why you wonder? so there is no extra space anywhere and the radio install is cleaner than leaving a big hole under the radio.

as the block off plate is the same width as a radio, then theres no way any of the material can go around the outside of the unit, and you'll need to (at least) cut the block off plate into two pieces, depending where you want to put it

may aswell save yourself a bundle of cash and buy a generic one

Just glue a piece of abs over the hole if you don't like it... or, I guess you could get the pocket from a base model RSX. It has a door that closes over the pocket.

I sorta did that, but i mounted my boost controller in the backoff plate.

Ignore the bracelet, it was my girls at the time (picture is 5 years old).

is it inside the glove box? so nobody can see it? that wouldnt be too bad if you had an ipod or something hooked up to it, but it wouldnt be too great if you liked to skip tracks too often on a cd.
